Dr. Celeste Treadway

Celeste Treadway is the owner and medical director of Lakeline Animal Care. She is a 1990 graduate of Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. She began her career in a busy 24-hour hospital in Massachusetts, where she saw a large caseload of general and emergency cases. In 1992 she moved to Austin, where she worked for four years in general practice and as a relief veterinarian. In 1996 she joined the staff of the Emergency Animal Hospital of Northwest Austin, where she worked full time as an emergency doctor and served as medical director. During this time she also helped establish the first animal blood bank in Central Texas (Texas Animal Blood Bank). In August 2002, she joined Dr.Tom Sutton at Lakeline Animal Care, and purchased the practice from him in June 2006. Dr.Treadway’s areas of special interest are emergency/critical care medicine, and feline medicine.

Outside work, Dr.Treadway enjoys spending time with her husband Harry, and their children, Brian and Maria. She and her family have one very spoiled cat named Sam, a three-legged Chihuauhua named Scamp, and a foster dog, Dixie, who is the sweetest black lab on the planet.

Dr. Wendy Walden

Dr. Walden came to work at Lakeline Animal Care in March of 2006. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2002. After graduation she went to work in Las Vegas, Nevada where she worked until moving here in March. She has called many places home including Illinois, The Philippines, California, Utah, Colorado, and Nevada. Friendly people, the beautiful countryside and the opportunity to work in an outstanding practice led her to the Austin area.

Dr. Walden enjoys all aspects of practicing veterinary medicine. Her favorite areas are challenging internal medicine cases, dermatology, preventative dental care and working with pocket pets (hamsters, guinea pigs, ferrets, and rats). She is also a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist. She is married and has one son and a daughter. Their family includes 2 high-energy agility dogs (Border Collie and Border/Australian Shepard mix), and 3 lazy indoor cats. Wendy has been active in dog agility, is addicted to scrap-booking, hiking, boating, and any other activity that allows her to spend time outdoors with the family.

Dr. Debbie Faludi

Dr. Faludi graduated from LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. She practiced in North Carolina and Louisiana before making Austin her home 3 years ago. She recently joined Lakeline Animal Care and is very excited to be part of such an exceptional veterinary team. Her special interests include small animal internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery and dermatology. Debbie and her husband, Jason, share their home with their two happy dogs, Soapy and Stuart, and their two (usually happy) cats, Mammie and Mini-Mammie. Much to their chagrin, she also occasionally houses rescue pets with special needs (see photo!). When not working or taking her dogs to the dog park, she enjoys hiking, tennis, scuba-diving, traveling and reading.

Dr. Matt Bendall

Dr. Bendall graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2007. Originally from Lake Jackson, Texas, and an eight year resident of Bryan/College Station, Dr. Bendall found himself ready for a change. Local family and friends helped him find his way to the Hill Country and he is very excited to be practicing veterinary medicine in north Austin. Dr. Bendall enjoys working with all animals but finds particular interest in dogs, cats and occasionally exotics. Veterinary interests include all aspects of surgery, internal medicine, and dentistry. When not working, Dr. Bendall enjoys taking Ryla, his 7-year-old lab mix, for a run in the park or creating interesting puzzles for his rat Simon. Other outside work interests include international travel (he just got back from Seoul, Korea and the Thai coast), soccer, frisbee sports, and anything involving music or film.
