Clinic Services

Introduction

We are a full-service general veterinary practice, offering personalized care for your pet in a comfortable, clean, and home-like setting. Our doctors have over 60 years of cumulative experience. Our staff works together as a team to offer your pet their shared expertise in general practice and preventive medicine, critical care, surgery, dentistry, acupuncture, and reproductive medicine. While dogs and cats make up the majority of our patients, several of our doctors also see birds, ferrets and rabbits, reptiles, and “pocket pets”. We look forward to meeting the special animal in your life!

Wellness Care

Lakeline Animal Care believes the best way to treat disease is to prevent it. Preventive care programs include regular physical examinations and diagnostic testing, parasite control, and vaccination schedules tailored to your pet’s particular lifestyle and risk factors. We prefer to take the time with each client to discuss what is best for YOUR pet, rather than taking a “one size fits all” approach. We strive to help you understand what you can do to keep your pet healthy, fit, and active for as many years as possible.

Critical Care

Sometimes, despite the best preventive care possible, your pet may become seriously ill or injured, and require hospitalization or surgery. During these times, your pet needs a veterinarian that is experienced and current in emergency medicine and intensive care procedures. We pride ourselves on our ability to successfully manage the critically ill or injured pet. We also work with area specialists to make sure that your pet can receive advanced “specialty” procedures if needed. We believe that it is our responsibility to always offer you the best care possible, whether that is in our own facility, or at specialty facility.

Surgery

Our doctors are experienced in a wide array of surgical procedures, from the familiar general surgery (spay/neuter), to C-sections, urinary tract surgery, and surgery of the gastrointestinal tract and abdominal cavity. Dr Mouser performs selected orthopedic procedures (cruciate repair, patellar luxation, FHO, and selected fracture repairs). He also is capable of advanced reconstructive surgery, which may be necessary after removal of large tumors, or for repair of severe skin injuries. We also work closely with surgical specialists, should your pet need an advanced or unusual surgical technique.
