Dog Lovers

Staff

Our staff members share a passion for caring for pets and their human companions! Come meet our staff:

Practice Manager: Debbie Marquis

Debbie has worked at Lakeline Animal Care since June 1999. She spent several years as a receptionist, then was promoted to head receptionist, and now has taken over duties as our practice manager. Debbie and her husband Jeff have two children and three dogs.

Business Administrator: Harry Leuzinger

You will see Harry going in and out of the hospital on a regular basis. Harry loves to meet and talk with people, so feel free to strike up a conversation, or give him feedback on what you like or don’t like about your experience at Lakeline. In addition to handling all the day to day business admin, Harry also helps take care of the landscaping and is the general “fixit” guy. He also happens to be married to Dr.Treadway, so he can’t even get away from work when he goes home…

Receptionists

Our receptionist staff includes Elizabeth Pruitt, Melissa Pfeifle, who is about to take maternity leave (and then hopefully rejoin us part-time!), Vicky Jimenez, Kristen Hieronymus, Adrian Lopez, and India Marquette, who has bragging rights to knowing more movie stars than anyone else on our staff!

Expediter, Greeter, and general all-around good guy

Ross High, who previously worked as one of our technicians, has taken on duties as greeter and expediter during our busy afternoon hours. If you need anything when you come in—Ross is here to help, or at least make you laugh.

Technicians

Our veterinary technician team is simply one of the best in Austin! They have many years of combined experience, with several of them having prior experience working in the emergency medicine and surgical specialty fields. Mike Burgess, Randy Gourley, Enricka Dillman, Tracy Smith, Emily Gathright, Krissy Gonzales, Jeff Simpson, Amber Ryan, Sean Draper (who also works in our kennel), and Hannah Dondlinger comprise this team of caring and dedicated technicians.

Kennel

We have a wonderful team of kennel attendants whose sole duty is to look after our boarding guests. They start their day earlier than any other staff members, and have what is probably the least visible, but one of the most important, jobs in the hospital—keeping up with cleaning, walking, medicating, playing with, and providing attention and affection for all the boarding animals. Jasmine VanMill, our senior kennel attendant, has been here for several years and knows most of our regular boarders “personally”. Angele Davidson has worked for us for 2 1/2 years, and is our “quietly efficient” one—she doesn’t talk much, but she doesn’t miss a detail. Sean Draper has worked for os for 2 years and is a guy who will always go the extra mile to make sure that everything is done just right. Carol Borchert joined us a little over a year ago, and has proven herself to be wonderfully patient and attentive. Nicole Porter and Aaron Reed, our newest additions, are likewise proving themselves to be dedicated, attentive, and compassionate animal caretakers. We are so glad to have all of these hard workers on our staff!
